Hair Type :: Wavy Hair BOTTOM LINE: After 7 years...finally no tears!Comments: I've tried so many products over the last 7 years and this is the first one that I used that WORKS! For the first time, my daughter didn't cry, cringe or complain. I was able to pull the comb through the first 10 inches of her hair with no problem, only slightly detangling the ends.Hair washing in my house used to be a tramatic experience for both of us. I loved the adult, but thought I'd give the kids a try & was not as impressed. I'm back to usig the adult products on her hair & am seeing much better results! She has sensitive skin & never had a reaction from the adult line. BOTTOM LINE: Prefer the adultMixedChicks.net responds: We are glad you gave the product a try. So I tried putting a very light covering of oil in her hair and it just sat there. So I went to the beauty supply store and looked for Mixed Chicks kids line (I saw it on YouTube) And this conditioner works WONDERS on her hair! I don't even need the leave in (yet)! Hair Type :: Very Curly Hair BOTTOM LINE: LOVE THIS CONDITIONER!Comments: This stuff works FANTASTIC! I condition her hair twice a week this stuff, and it's really all my daughter needs. We were using the the leave in conditioner but over time it started to leave my daughter's hair crunchy, dry & I hated the tiny spiral curls that deveoloped. All I need to use is this stuff conditioner twice a week & in the morning I wet her hair with a little bit of Coconut Oil (100% organic)! Viola! It's good to go. Her curls are big, huge and soft! So, while the leave in conditioner did not work for us, the regular conditioner I do plan on purchasing again. |

My 5 y/o has hair to his shoulders, my 3 y/o hair is very dry and kinky and all it took was one suirt for each of them and no crying while I was combing their hair....I couldn't believe it. It has great slippage which really helps. My only complaint with your kids line is no economy sizes. I have 5 children and would definitley buy them! Hair Type :: Very Curly Hair BOTTOM LINE: Super thick!Comments: I have been waiting for a child's product that is tear free from Mixed Chicks. I love the original product for my daughters hair and honestly her hair has grown significantly in the last year since I started using it. However, I was deterred by the bottle size. I would pay for the large economy bottles just the same. My daughter has super thick, long curls and it takes quite a bit of conditioner for her hair. The thickness of the conditioner made it impossible for the pump to work. I had to sit it in scalding water to loosen it up so that I could get it out of the bottle and it only lasted her about 3 washes. Miner issues, but I love it otherwise, and I hope that it will be offered in larger economy sizes soon! Love Mixed Chicks for my daughter's hair! These products were recommended as I was trying to understand my daughter's mixed hair - complete opposite of mine. I've tried several other products and this is one of our favorites. We use as a daily leave-in conditioner. It is gentle enough to use daily (other products have made her scalp itch), when we do use as rinse out it doesn't sting her eyes, and it holds curls throughout the day very well. I would buy a larger size bottle if it were avaialble.
