I was really tired of his hair looking frizzy and not knowing what to do with it. Ive tried other products so I was a little hesitant. I purchased the sample pack and I was amazed. His hair looked awesome! The frizz was gone, it was easy to comb, and the product really smelled nice. In the morning when he woke up his hair still looked the same other than the part he slept on but I just wet his hair and applied the leave in conditioner and it was looking great again! I just wish the sample pack contained the tangle tamer. I will be purchashing the the larger sizes of the products. I am thinking about purchasing a sample pack to try in my hair. Ahhhh so disappointed (it didn't even look like her hair)...poor thing, this is obviously not the one for her, however the adult line did work for her grandmother whom she gets the Irish descent from oh and we are african american. MixedChicks.net responds: One way to add a little moisture into the shampoo is to ad a few drops of oil (perhaps olive oil) into your hadds and mixing it with the shampoo. Another way is, if her hair is fairly clean, don't shampoo. Just use the conditioner and then only shampoo after a few days. |

I have a beautiful, biracial, two year old princess with 3C very curly hair. Her hair was dry looking and very frizzy and her curls were not what I would call defined. The dry look probably bothered me the most. Well, I ordered this sample pack and tried it out the day after I received it. I was leery and even though the shampoo smelled amazing, like fresh oranges, and her the conditioner made it super easy to detangle her hair, and it looked moist, I held out on making a decision on buying the product until I knew it would remain that way. I put her down for a nap while still having damp hair and when she woke up hours later with her hair dry, but still looking moist, with shiny, defined curls, I was in love. I have already purchased my Kids Gift Basket and can't wait to receive it. |

He has curly hair but not really tight curls, but curly. I washed it, deep conditioned it and used the leave in conditioner, but by morning his hair was frizzy and the curls weren't defined. I am glad I didn't buy larger sizes or I would have definitely been disappointed. Back to the drawing board.... BOTTOM LINE: Not ImpressedMixedChicks.net responds: When someone sleeps they move around (some more than others) so your hair will frizz because of the rubbing action on a pillow. Here are a few ways to fix this: 1. you can re-apply a bit of leave in and water in the morning. 2. you can do the entire process in the morning, or if it is cold... 3. do the leave-in step at night and put the hair in a ponytail while sleeping. I have a 4 yr old daughter who hates the shower and me combing her hair and washing but with this product I don't have as much yelling and screaming as before her hair is soft and no frizz. I can actually run my fingers thru her curls without getting stuck. I did get the kids combo pack and the other day I decided to try on my straight hair. I have so many allergies to normal hair care that this was wonderful in mine as well. I am now thinking of getting the women's product for myself.
