I was a product junkie until I found the miracle in a bottle for my 2 year old daughter. I literally have 10 minutes to style her hair and after that she is ready to get up from the chair. The leave in conditioner straigtens her hair and makes it easy to comb. She now ask for me to spray on the detangler because she says it makes if feel better. I am a huge fan of the products and support this team 1000%

My daughter has very curly hair that frizzes badly without product. We put this leave-in conditioner in her hair after her bath, and it makes the hair SO cute--defines curls, and smells so nice!

i have 2 mixed children, with extremely curly, thick hair and I have tried ever product out there, one day i was shopping and notices this little girl about the same age as mine and her curls were perfect, i asked her mother what she used and when had she done her daughter hair, she told me 4 days ago..i was floored, i do my kids hair and the next day, it looks like i havent for a week the mother told me she used mixed chicks leave in and then in the morning she just sprayed some of the detangler to give it a little boost...when i asked her is she tied it up, and when she said no... i came home and ordered it immediately.... when i was living in an apt, the neighbors called the cops 2 differnet times, who just laughed at me when they found out, they thought i was beating my kids becaused they were screaming so much when i did their hair....and when i tell you, after i washed their hair and put the leave in, i could and did simple run my fingers through their hair and it took all the knots and tangles out, and gave their curls the help they needed to look the way they should...simple amazing!!!!! i love this some much i have even jumped into a stangers conversation while they were discussing their own issues with their kids hair i promise you you will never use anything else!!!

I have used this on my two year olds hair since she was 12 months. I wash her hair then while her hair is still dripping wet I add 1 pump of this product and detangle with a wide tooth comb or paddle brush. It curls her hair really tight ,which I don't really like, but her curls are defined and shiny. When it dries it is still pretty but it starts to frizz after a few hours so I add a little detangler to fix the frizz.

For 2 yrs I have looked for a product for my son. He he has thin, curly (yet straight) hair... This is the first product I found that actually makes his hair looks the best it can look. His hair barber recommended we try the leave-in hair conditioner in place of of gels.... I did and haven't used anything else since. It doesn't flake and locks his curl in for the day! Great product... though a little pricey:-(

My daughter is bi-racial (black and white). She has always been timid about showing her curls off. Most of her friends have straight hair and she always wanted to have the same type of hair as they did. No matter what I said she didnt believe her curls were beautiful.... Until today when we used your product. I couldnt believe it when she asked if she could wear her hair down again tomorrow. Lots of love to you and your company for making a product that helps my babygirl realize that she DOESN'T need to have straight hair to be beautiful.

I actually use this product on myself. I like the fact that it does not have alcohol or the smell of the leave in for adults. The smell of the one for adults would make my eyes tear. Please make this in a large bottle for the adults that love this product as I do.

Finally something that allows me to comb my daughters hair. She has very frizzy wavy hair and it would always get tangled. I could never leave her hair loose because it would be a nightmare trying to comb it the next day. But with mixed chicks I can leave her hair loose and she loves it. She doesn't fight with me anymore about combing her hair. It even defines the curls I never really knew she had. So times I even put in alittle moroccanoil just to give her hair that extra bit of shine.

This product has changed my life. Seriously. When I say this stuff works...I literally want to go pass out fliers to people on the street just so all the moms can know about this wonderful secret!!! My son has very curly, frizzy hair. I have tried EVERYTHING and nothing works. Or it looked like it was going to work and ten minutes later his hair was just looking like a hot mess again. This product not only controls, tames, and defines my son's beautiful curls but it lasts!! For any mom that knows how active 1 1/2yr olds are.. that truly is a miracle :) I will continue to spread the word about this wonderful product and will most definitely be a customer for life. I wrote the same review for the conditioner. I began using the adult line on my daughter's hair before they came out with the kids line. Thought I would give it a try & wasn't nearly as impressed. My daughter has sensitive skin & never had a reaction to the adult line. I'm back to using it now & couldn't be happier with the results! I'm not sayng this is a bad product, it's just that I like the others much better for her hair.

I was so excited to have a little extra $ to try mixed chicks products on my 7 yr. old daughter! I have read & heard so many great reviews, but had to wait because of the price and size of the product. I used the leave in conditioner as directed along with the detangler, my daughter's hair ended up matted together, very very dry. I couldn't put a brush through it and she was crying. She is mixed (black & white) with extremly thick, coarse, dry hair. I am researching where to turn next because I am running out of options. Any suggestions? Thanks--it did smell great!!

I bought the trial size kit for my granddaughter Makaleigh who is bi-racial.. she is 2 years old and i can tell you that ive have tried everything from [@] stuff and nothing has worked liked the mixed chicks products.. her hair is very tight sprial curls and they frizz... we do all 3 steps except i only wash her hair every other day to keep it from drying out so much.. the deep cond and the leve in cond is the BEST... I love the product. I use the adult version for myself. Neither my daughter or I are mixed but we both have curly fine hair and it works great. My only gripe is it needs to come in a larger size!

After reading ALL the great reviews I decided to try the kids leave in conditioner for my daughter. She is NOT mixed. After using the product, I really feel that it's best for people with fine hair. Once I shampooed/conditioned her hair and the conditioner dried...her hair looked very dull. I wish I could take it back, but I know if I tried the store owner wouldn't take it! But, most importantly my daughter was disappointed as well!!

A friend recommended this product line for my daughter. It has been a life saver. After using all three steps I can comb and detangle her hair without tears and a fight. It leaves her hair soft and shiny. It is too curly, and she is too active, to leave her hair out but when I undo her braids/twists her hair is still soft and shiny. I reapply the conditioner when I re-do her hair and I get great results. I have recently gone all natural myself and this product works great on my hair too. Thank you for hair peace at home! But bigger sizes would be nice.

I love this products and I use it on my hair and my brother's hair too. I have very curly fine hair and my brother has kinky curls that are coarse. We like wearing our curls out but many products don't work for us. So, one day I saw Mixed Chicks at my local beauty supply and begged my mom to try it. So, my mom put the product in my brother and my hair and we let it air dry. We both had beautiful defined curls. For my brother it is hard to get his kinky hair soft but this product did the trick! My 3b/3c curls had so much shine and hold! Never had I tried a product to do such. I just wish Mixed Chicks had an economy size. But, overall this product is awesome!

Excited to find this product and read the rave reviews. Surely it would be better than anything found in the store. I have been using on daughters in conjunction with the detangling spray. From a combing/styling standpoint, I haven't seen a real difference with this product, compared to others. However, I must say that the hair does look better throughout the day. Also used according to the directions: apply after washing while hair is wet. However, when the hair dried, the hair was too coarse for styling. The other leave-in conditioner was much better.

This is the only product which has allowed me to make peace with my hair and without breaking into any rashes. I am allergic to wheat ingredients and love the conditioning and hold that this product gives me and the fact that it doesn't have wheat. My daughter is not mixed, but she has similar texture and curls. She is 19 months and her hair is growing and getting thick. I've been trying to find something for awhile that defines her curls and has shine. Usually by the end of the day, her hair is dry and looks like bed head. This product is great. I use 2 pumps with a little jojoba oil and put in her hair. At the end of the day her hair doesn't look a mess. The product doesn't feel heavy or leave a residue. Love it!!!!

I bought the whole set for my almost 6 yr old Autistic daughter who hates when I have to wash, comb and do her hair. Before all I did was wet hair just to comb it but this detangler is great! The comb practically eases through her hair and it makes it better for BOTH of us!

I got the sample pack of shampoo/conditioner/leave-in for my now 3 year old daughter about a year ago when her curls REALLY started coming in. I loved it so much that I ordered the full size leave-in right away. We use it at least 4 times a week, if not daily. It makes her hair so manageable even the next morning and really defines her curls. She's got areas that are VERY curly and some spots that are more wavy, but this just defines everything! I like it much better than some of the other "moisturizers" out there that leave a tacky feel. I can't wait to try the kid-specific line! I only wish they had something to add a little shine that is kid-specific.

I love this product! My daughter has very curly hair but it is very fine and light (in weight). This product gives her curls excellent definition and some weight. It is very simple to use and I love how natural it feels once it dries, unlike some other products that leave the hair feeling coated and sticky...my only "complaint" is the lack of moisture it gives to the section of her hair that is very dry. But all around an excellent product that I plan on purchasing again.

I chose this product after careful research and so i went to my local beauty supply store and tried the shampoo, deep conditioner, and leave in conditioner samples (of course). I got the product for my 5 yr old daughter who has very thick tight coiled short hair and all i have to say is the leave in conditioner is my NEW BFF lol. Whats great about the leave in conditioner is its not super absorbant instead it holds moisture which is great because my daughters hair and scalp is very porous. I WILL be buying the Quad Pack because i like to stick with the same brand of products so the can work the way they should.
