First of all let me say thank you MixedChicks for this product... I used to spend at least $80 every couple of months on hair products. My hair is curly, but like curly hair, it mainly needs conditioner. The best way I use the leave-in conditioner is after I get out of the shower each morning my hair is a little misty wet and then I just rub the leave-in conditioner through out layers in my hair and my curls are amazing once air dried! And it doesn't take long to air dry because my hair was only misty wet. They hold is awesome. I find my hands out of my curls alot. Even when I wake up the next day they are soft and not matted up like some products used to make my hair. No more going to the bathroom to run water in my hair any more! I love it! I feel like a beautiful princess walking with beautiful hair! Better than most models curls! And I mention this product to everyone, especially my mixed students moms. I loves it!

I have used many products over the years. I used to hate my curl, a couple of years ago i decided to embrace my natural hair. I have used many products. Always on the search for the perfect product. Just recently, a client of mine, at the salon i work at, told me she had tried this product and thought it would be perfect for my hair. I had just recently done a color correction on my hair from bright Rhianna red to a nice soft brown and had lost all my curl. So, i decided to give Mixed Chicks a try. Trust me, I am so glad I did. Im a 36 year old African American Woman. Ive been wearing my hair Natural since I was 18. My Best friend has been using this product for a month now. And has been extremly happy with the product. It has remarkable results for her both when curled or straightened. But I was skeptical because I have never used a leave in conditioner that has worked for me. Everything makes my hair feel Yucky for the lack of a better word. I've found that the less expensive products like Suave, etc.. worked best for me. But, I would have alot of breakage. I recently bought this (along with the shampoo & deep conditioner and gloss) at a beauty supply store (paid alot more there than on here, won't do that again) and I love it. I have combo 3c & 4a (only along hairline on forehead) hair so I deal with not only frizz but dryness also. My hair is shiny, healthy looking and can really see the curls where as before with other products my hair looked real coarse/kinky. The only thing is that my hair shrinks after a while but still no frizz once I go outside. Other than that I love it! I could never find anything to tame my frizz while letting my hair stay soft and curl freely until now. I'm surprised at how little I need to use in comparison to other products like mouse, considering I have somewhere between 3a and 3b hair almost to my rear. Using it while the hair is wet, starting at the ends, works the best, and it prevents greasiness at the roots. The light scent is nice (it reminds me of baby powder) and doesn't clash with perfumes. Also, it holds up surprisingly well in humid weather, especially for being so light weight. The only thing that keeps this product from getting 5 stars is the price. But I'm not surprised this product costs what it does considering how much it's able to do. Cutting back on the morning Starbucks will certainly pay for a bottle, and if you ask me, I'll take gorgeous hair over a frappuccino any day.

Hi, I'm a 14 years old, Black male. When I first bought this product, and used it, it dried out my hair a little. But I didn't buy the Mixed chicks shampoo, so I didn't use it as a process, which is why I probaly didn't get best results. So a couple of days later, I brought the His Mix Shampoo (8.5 oz) to go with the Mixed Chcks Leave- In Codnitioner , I got His Mix Shampoo (8.5) because it was a bit cheaper than the Mixed Chicks Shampoo (10 oz). Recently, I cut off an S-curl that my grandmother gave me, and got a brush cut. My hair has grown about two inches since then, and so far, your products have been worth the money ! I was introduced to Mixed Chicks from my bestie who is a Blasian beauty! Being fully Ecuadorian myself, I was thinking Mixed chicks may just be for girls who are--as it says--a mixed chick. Therefore, I was skeptical, but decided to invest in the smaller bottle. BOY was I surprised!!! I have 3C type corckscrew curls. And they frizz so easily. I'm so used to having big hair and my face looking fat. However, Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner controlled my frizz and gave my bouncy, non-stiff wet looking curls! I was so happy! A little bit--and I mean little!--of hair spray and I was good to go! I am so happy I can finaly embrace my curls when it is a humid day and straightening my hair won't cut it!! For me, a Latina with lots of curls, this product works best after I wash my hair and in the morning when I am redefining my curls before I go to work. Since I tend to get frizz in the morning I usually spritz water on my hair and I apply some of my mixed chicks leave-in conditioner, which automatically eliminates hairs sticking out. What I love about this product the most is that it gives my curls a sense of style/definition that I never had before and I love the fact that my hair is much more manageable now than before. I would towel dry my hair and then apply the leave-in but could not understand why I had so much frizz and just when I was about to give up I found your video on how to apply the leave-in. I shampooed and deep conditioned my hair and once I was done I did not towel dry my hair. I actually applied the leave-in in the shower because I left my hair dripping wet. I'm bi-racial (Portuguese and African)with fine, KINKY curls, and before this hair line, I had battling with hair products my entire life. My 4 1/2 yr old daughter is biracial. I have very nappy, coarse dry hair, her dad has straight fine hair. She has his hair with loose Shirley Temple curls but my dryness.My sis in law used Mixed Chicks on my daughter when she spent the night and it really made her curls POP and hold their shape, it wasn't heavy or greasy.Anyway I ended up buying the shampoo and leave in conditioner after talking with a lady at [...] who sells them and listening to her praise the products. My neice has same hair as my daughter. Her mom wets her hair daily and then puts in the leave in and it looks great all day.However, if I do the same thing for my daughter her hair becomes excessively dry within hours, the curls remain but so dry. Since my daughter really needs a moisturizer I spray another products moisturizer on and put in Mixed Chick Leave In Conditioner after shampooing and then 1 -2x/week and the curls pop right back but stay moist. Daily use for her hair is too much.So overall I am happy, I think I am going to try the detangler/moistruizer from mixed chicks and see how that works.

I am biracial, and have struggled all my life with my hair routine. My mom is black, but I have a LOT of very fine, curly hair, which is nothing like hers in texture or thickness. So, most of my life has been devoted to taming the beast, mainly with hot combs and relaxers. In fact, I had no idea how curly my hair was until I was in college and started letting my hair air-dry. What a discovery! Then, the eternal pursuit for effective hair products ensued. I threw together concoction after concoction trying to find the magic "potion" to deal with my hair. I even continued to relax my hair for years, because it made my curls more managable and, mainly, I didn't know what else to do. Thank goodness for the internet (and I truly mean that!) because others in my position started to discuss and create solutions to this dilemna! In comes Mixed Chicks! I have now stopped experimenting and can safely say I will be a customer for life! I've tried other products for biracial hair, and this one has been the most effective. I have curly Q type curls and about 4 different textures on my head (no exaggeration); so, I use the product in different amounts on different parts of my head. Also, for my hair, the product is a little drying and can make my hair crunchy. Moderation is the key for me. To counteract the fine and dry characteristics of my hair, I wash my hair only twice a week, but I wet and double-condition (deep condition and rinse, then condition and leave in) my hair almost every day. I apply Mixed Chicks leave-in AFTER the double-conditioning, and it works wonders! Thanks for helping me love my curls!

I was forced to buy spray leave-in-conditioners, anti-frizz creams, hair gel to hold my curls, and hair spray to lock in my style. NOW, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS SHAMPOO, DEEP CONDITION IN THE SHOWER (comb through in shower then rinse), AND APPLY THE LEAVE-IN-CONDITIONER AND WALK OUT!! NO EXAGGERATION. My curls are so soft and bouncy! I could tell a drastic change in my hair's texture once I applied the deep conditioner and combed it through. My hair was like silk and 100% kink-free. I always let my hair air dry, which now the drying time is cut in half considering I am now only using 1 product on my hair vs. 4. I have NEVER been able to get by with only putting leave-in-conditioner in my hair and walk out in public.....until now. I only need to use a drop of the conditioner for my hair for the product to work (and I have long, thick, curly hair) I put in while my hair is still still damp and work it through to the ends. I love that they call it "Mixed Chicks" because I am a caucasion women and it works great on my hair! It does leave my hair a little dry but my curls stay curly all day which is what I have been looking for in a product for years. This is definitely the best leave in conditioner for my curly hair I ever used. I just bought the product and can't wait to use it from seeing the other reviews I am anxious to use it...Question if anyone can respond I wonder do you use all thre products to get the full results I was just going to use the styling leave in conditioner. I have that in between hair one minute it's curly the other minute it's wavy but when it gets to dry it is puffy to afro back in a ponytail..Hope the product works..because I have also tried everything you can think of..

I am a Caucasian woman with very curly, but frizz-prone hair. I was a little skeptical about this product, but I had tried so many other things without success, so I thought, "What's one more?" The conditioner goes in easily, but there is a bit of a scent at first. It's not awful, and is not noticeable once my hair is dry. I can't believe how great this stuff is! My hair dries with nice curls instead of frizz, and the product doesn't leave my hair feeling "crunchy" like some of the other products that I've used. The only downside that I've found is that I've noticed a little greasiness after a couple of days. I normally wash my hair every three days, but my hair seems a little heavy after two days. My hair is not normally greasy, so it's probably just that I'm using a little too much product. I've just started using it, so it may take a few times for me to find the right amount for my hair. This is the first thing that has really worked for my hair, and I will continue to use it. I'm so glad that I found out about Mixed Chicks. Thank you!!!

Today my leave-in finished, and everyone is asking what's going on with my hair - I need to get my order in ASAP. This is my holy grail leave in conditioner! I have 3b/3c curly hair that tangles and becomes frizzy and very poofy. However I am impatient & did blow dry a little (with a diffuser). You don't have to have thick, course, unruly hair to use this leave in conditioner. I was at my wits end with my ultra baby fine wavy/kinky hair until I tried Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner! This leave-in conditioner is now a primary staple in my hair care. I am on my second bottle right now and looking to order the larger bottle the next time I need to restock. I am an African American woman who is not directly mixed but has a mixed lineage and have 3c curls. I love this leave in because when I use it (which is pretty much everyday) I get fantastic results. My curls are soft, dedfined, and have great hold. I think because of the texture of my hair I am not able to use this leave-in alone, I also use a small amount of styling agent. But in hindsight, once I'm down washing my hair I am only putting in a leave-in and styling agent, not numerous products. Mixed chicks has found a loyal customer for life!

I used the Leave-In everyday for my curls. I have very thick curly hair and it was hard to find something that defined my curls but didn't dry out my hair. This gave my hair the best definition. When my hair started to dry, it was a bit hard, but when it was totally dry, it was soft and defined and flexible. It's worth the price because it lasts and along time and you don't have to use with other products. I usually had to use a gel, lotion, moisturizer, etc. So glad to see that this product has taken off even more and is now offered in more stores. This will definitely be a staple for me and my curls. I can't wait to try more of the MixedChicks products.

The curls look really good when they are wet (after showering) but as they dry, they tend to get frizzy and more un-ruly. I've tried so many products over the years that made my hair either too greasy, too stiff, or just didnt define the curls. I finally found this product and it works great. I use it after showering or washing my hair and it keeps my hair looking just like it did when it was wet all day long. It's not greasy, not stiff. It's perfect. I use this product on my little girl. She is two and has the best hair of any little girl in town - all thanks to mixed chicks! I am white and my husband is black. My daughter has very soft but very curly hair. All I do to get her ready to go for the day is spritz her hair with mixed chick leave in conditioner and water (I use a spray bottle and mix about 1/2 and 1/2 for light hold or 2/3 leave in conditioner and 1/3 water for a heavier hold), and she is ready for the day! If she has had a hard day at play (which most 2 year olds do), I just re-spritz and we are ready to go! I looked for a long time for a product that would work on her hair without damaging it or drying it out. This product turns her frizzy curls into soft, shiny, well defined, beautiful curls! I have wavy hair whether relaxed or natural. I can pretty much easily straighten my hair or wear it curly if I wanted. I always use to wear my hair straight because I hated the hassel of finding a product for my hair that didnt work for my curls. I have used many products over the years, mainly those that dried my hair and didnt keep my curls lasting. I didnt hear about mixed chicks until I walked into a beauty supply store, and there it was. I was skeptical, so I opted for the trial version instead. Well, first of all it is the easiest product I have ever used. Just wash, deep condition, and style; cant get any easier than that. It usually takes me 4-5 hrs when straightening my hair, but with mixed chicks it only takes an hour so thats a plus!! The thing I like most about the product is that it has really improved my curls the more I use it. I wish I had a photo to upload because I get so many complimets about how beautiful my curls look. This product I purchased for my 7 year old daughter. Her hair is red, extremely extremely curly and there's lots of it. She has a sensitive head and her hair tangles easily....Before "Mixed Chix" I was using at least 5 products in my poor young daughters hair, to not only detangle it each day but to also manage it so it did not look like a huge birds nest fro. I took a chance on this new product and we love it! Our tangle time is so so much easier, the pain is minimal if any and my daughter actually doesn't mind having her hair brushed now. I have been using Mixed Chicks Leave-in for 2 years. It is absolutely the best product out there for curly hair. I apply the Leave-in to my hair while it is dripping wet out of the shower...towel drying even a little bit keeps the product from been applied as evenly. After I apply and comb through to the ends, I don't do anything else except let it air dry. After it dries it's a bit stringy and crunchy...but I scrunch it out with my hands and it's perfect every time! I pat my hair dry with a towel, and then use the leave-in conditioner right away. My hair is thick, so I separate sections to fully cover all of the hair. If any hair is left out, you can really see a difference, because those sections will be fly-away and dry looking, while the hair treated with Mixed Chicks looks soft and shiny and has a better curl. After my hair air drys, I finger-comb thru and fluff it up. While the conditioner initially dries a little stiff, once you pull out your curls and style, the conditioner immediately becomes so SOFT and feels wonderful!!!! On days that I do not want to wash, I rinse or spritz my hair wet and then apply a small amount of product to freshen the curls.
