I have been trying to find something to keep my hair straight longer without ruining my curl...this is it! It makes me not even WANT to wear it curly. I didn't work out for a week, was out in the sun for a whole day for a Father's Day celebration, and my hair was STILL straight! This NEVER happens...I've tried so many things and this is the ONLY one. The only complaint that I have is that it doesn't seem to moisturize my hair. I can use the shine with it, but that only makes it look shiny instead of creating moisture in my hair. MixedChicks.net responds: If you use Mixed Chicks deep conditioner it will help moisturize. I have always lived in humid climates but my hair was in a weave, perm or braids. I have never been completely natural. I am multi-ethnic and when it's hot outside my hair really shows it. I spent an hour flat ironing my hair and then five minutes outside and my hair curled right back up again. I saw mixed chicks in the store and decided to give it a try. I saw immediate results. This product was so light on my hair and with the use of my flat iron, really got my hair straight.
